Angela collaborates with the program staff and the grants management team to effectively plan and execute Growald Climate Fund’s grantmaking process. 

Prior to joining Growald, Angela worked at the United Nations Development Programme’s Nature for Development department which focuses on putting nature at the heart of sustainable development. Angela worked with countries that are signatories to the New York Forest Declaration to include nature-based solutions in their updated pledges to the Paris Agreement, and to map areas where actions to protect biodiversity to enhance decision-making around nature, climate, and sustainable development. 

Angela holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and communication from Makerere University and a master’s in sustainable international development from Brandeis University’s Heller School of Social Policy and Management. She is based in Massachusetts.
